Hi, I’m Becky! My husband Louie and I started Wool & Whimsy in November 2024 with a desire to provide a cozy haven for fiber arts enthusiasts. In addition to a variety of yarn, we also offer notions, patterns, kits, books and more to jumpstart your creative projects. Nestled in downtown Crete, Nebraska, our shop is just down the hill from Doane University and only a short 30-minute drive from Lincoln.
Built in 1911, our shop building retains much of its original charm, including a pressed tin ceiling and pine floors. Although the space is small, we do have some chairs, and you are more than welcome to bring along a project and sit for awhile!
